Try out a dance class for adult beginners in a warm and supportive environment.
You don't need to lose or gain weight. You don't need to be flexible or have rhythm. Just bring your sense of fun, and be ready to learn something new!
Yoga or exercise wear is best. Bare feet for belly dance, non-grippy socks or ballet shoes for ballet class.
People of all genders and body types are welcomed and affirmed. These classes are for people ages 14+.Reserve your spot today!
Total beginners of all genders are welcome in both classes, ages 14+. You don't need to have any dance experience at all. Choose one class or both. Come try them out!
If you decide that you'd like to take more classes, a $10 discount will be available that night only. However, there is never any pressure to do so. These classes are meant to help you learn about these different dance styles.
Learn movements, rhythms, and cultural context of Egyptian style belly dance in this one-hour free class. You will be introduced to hip movements, shimmies, and circles, with guidance for posture and healthy movement. Jingly hip scarves are available to borrow! Yoga or exercise wear and bare feet are perfect.
Ballet is a full body workout that leaves you feeling tall, strong, and graceful. In this class, you'll learn some of the foundation movements with careful guidance to ensure safe movement for everyone. Ballet improves your posture and balance, helps you develop flexibility safely, and strengthens your entire body.
