Rosa in the studio

My classes are designed with care — for you.

If you join online, you’ll be able to see and hear me clearly, with excellent sound and lighting, full-body views, and close-ups when helpful.

The movements are designed to be done in your home space — no large space or special equipment required. Ideally, your feet will be able to slide on the floor — but I’ll guide you as needed!

Community is more important than ever these days. Bringing everyone together in a shared experience is a priority for me as your teacher.

In-person students will have plenty of room to move in the studio on our beautiful wood floors and airy space.

You won’t be learning by rote.

The why and the how are equally important to me, as a teacher, and to you, as adult students trying something new.

As we learn new movements each week, we will build them into a specially designed combination inspired by a famous classical ballet, so you can learn about movement transitions and ballet history simultaneously.

Each class finishes with a guided stretch of 10-15 minutes to help release your muscles and keep your body happy.

You’ll develop a new understanding of your own body — and how you can shift your mood on demand.

You’ll learn about a new classic ballet each session, including rhythms, musical styles, and the rich history of this dance form.

The benefits go far beyond our 9-week class.

When you join Intro to Adult Ballet, you get…

  • A 9-week live online dance class with Rosa via Zoom

  • Access to the class recordings via Teachable until a week after the final class of the session, so you can make your own schedule

  • Notes, video links, and extra background info on our class topics via Teachable—so you can learn about this history and context of our movements!

  • Membership in a private Facebook group for Rosa’s students (optional)

“Rosa's manner is supportive, not critical (even when making a correction!). Our classes are a judgement free zone for overall dance enrichment. I am definitely seeing a difference in how I carry my body and move in daily activities as well as my other dancing.”
